I prefer WordPress, I have used it the most and have the most personal experience with it.

It offers so much support, free and paid themes, and free plugins that are excellent make our job easier.

In my own suggestion i think Blogger sites appear much much faster in Google than do WP sites. They also get higher placing. You can think that’s a ‘rumour’ if you want. I’ve tested it with all of my sites. 100 percent accurate every time.

I moved some of my sites from Blogger to WP last year and what a disaster that was. I lost much of my ‘Google juice’ because of it. Plus, as WP is a nightmare to customize I don’t recommend doing that to anyone who just wants to blog.

WP fanboys like you can keep talking all you like about WP being ‘better’. In actual fact, it’s not. And, as you can have a unique domain name on Blogger, there is no reason not to use it at all.

I really dislike Blogger because it lacks customization and compared to WordPress, it has a lack of plugins and themes. With WordPress, you can use whatever host you desire and can basically have any feature you can think of due to how popular it is.

I used Blogger when there was no WordPress around and for what it was at the time it was alright. When WordPress came out it wasn't even a competition. When I started with WordPress I said goodbye to Blogger for good. There are so many themes and plugins, you could change your website everyday for a year and not use the same ones.

Wordpress [I'm referring to the paid .org version] basically allows you to build your page exactly as you want it. Blogger has very few choices and limited customization especially with regard to themes and layouts.

The only issues I have with Wordpress, is, that they require you to buy the blog to be able to monetize it. On the other hand, Blogger lets you use adsense right from the start.

Blogger is a great starting point for people if they have never run a blog before. I used it for many years, but it is very limited for my uses. If you want to make money blogging then WordPress is the way to go.

I chose wordpress everytime, it offers so much more than Blogger. If you want to properly monetize your blog at some point or convert it into a bigger media site, wordpress is unbeatable.
